The Paper Plane Cocktail is a simple, equal parts cocktail made with Bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. It’s the perfect marriage of sweet Bourbon and tart and bitter Aperol and Amaro Nonino. This cocktail was originally created in 2009 by bartender Sam Ross and instantly became a classic.
I guess that I kind of took the easy way out this week with my Friday cocktail, but I love to try cocktails made by others every once in while. Honestly, that’s how I get a lot of ideas and learn about new ingredients and techniques. This cocktail is so delicious and so easy to make. That’s a win-win in my book.
