I first met with the lovely ladies of Grayson at the annual Blog Societies Conference outside of Atlanta this year. I immediately fell in love. Being a curvy/busty gal, a button-down is almost impossible to wear, but the Grayson button-down is different.
Last week, a few friends and I recently flew to Oregon for a girl’s wine tasting weekend and thought that it would be a great way to showcase the Grayson button-down on different bodies in different ways. We all loved them so much (and the scenery definitely didn’t hurt anything).
How is the Grayson button-down different?
The Grayson Hero button-down is intentionally designed to flatter a woman’s body. It is made of a soft, washable material with a signature cape-like pleat in the back. This pleat allows a little more room in the chest area without the shirt feeling or looking boxy and unfeminine. The washed cotton shirts that we wore were lightweight and so comfortable.
The sizing of the Grayson is also different. The sizes are from 1-5 with an easy to use
How we wore it…
Grayson sent us a total of four different style shirts and every one of us wore them differently. I (above) opted for dark skinny jeans, my favorite yellow Marc Fisher loafers, a white cami, and my Grayson untucked and unbuttoned at the top. A very casual and easy look. I accessorized with some gorgeous Kendra Scott earrings, a few delicate necklaces, and my usual David Yurman and John Hardy bracelets.
Laura wore her pink striped Grayson with dark skinny jeans, sandals, and some classic Ray-Bans. She also wore her hero untucked for a casual look.
Carolyn, Brittani, and Charity all wore the blue striped Grayson in their own style. Carolyn wore some cute denim cutoffs, BuDhagirl Bracelets, Ray-Ban Aviators, and a delicate necklace all with her Grayson in a front tuck. Brittani opted for a total tuck with Just Black White flare jeansand classic Ray-Ban Aviators. Lastly, Charity wore her Grayson tied in front with Kut From The Kloth Denim Jeans, an Old Navy tank, and Kate Spade sunglasses.
Lindsay and Megan rounded out the group with both of their Grayson’s tied at the waist. Lindsay wore the star-patterned Grayson with black skinny jeans, a Stella and Dot bracelet, and J Crew earrings and sunglasses. Megan wore the navy and red plaid Grayson with a denim skirt, Anthropology hoops, VSA necklace, and BuDhagirl bracelets.
While we all enjoyed a day of wine tasting, our Grayson shirts were definitely the highlight of the day. If you want to rock a beautiful Grayson shirt too, the awesome folks offered all of my readers 20% off their purchase using code “SABRINA20”.
