The holiday season this year is looking a whole lot different than the ones in the past and I’m relishing every second that I can enjoy the holiday spirit. Since I’ve already decorated for Christmas (I know I’m early–no judgment please), I decided that I would incorporate The Best Festive & Fun Holiday Cocktails for Thanksgiving and Christmas in one post. I’m so ready for Christmas this year (like I can’t stand it I’m so ready), not that I don’t enjoy Thanksgiving, but I’m so ready for Christmas. It seems like everyone is. Maybe we are all just ready for the nightmare that is 2020 to be over.
Sparkling Grapefruit Rosemary Gin Martinis & Cran Razz Ornament-Tinis
Above is probably my absolute favorite holiday cocktail–Sparkling Grapefruit Rosemary Gin Martinis. This cocktail has all of the flavors that I adore–grapefruit, rosemary, and gin. It’s so delicious and perfect for a celebration (socially distanced, of course). Below is one of the most festive and fun cocktails on this list, Cran Razz Ornament-Tinis made with delicious Yellowfin Vodka. Isn’t that lemon zest bow the cutest?
You cannot go wrong with a pitcher full of Jingle Juice, aka Cranberry Pomegranate Spritzers. It’s light, refreshing and so delicious. This is a great cocktail to make ahead and it definitely serves a crowd.
Cherry Bourbon Manhattans
If you are looking for a classic cocktail that’s not only delicious but also very elegant, look no further than this Cherry Bourbon Manhattan. It is so simple to make, but the flavor combination is out of this world. I use my absolute favorite maraschino cherries, which I cannot recommend enough. I buy them by the ½ gallon–no joke. They are that good and they definitely take this cocktail to the next level.
The Perfect Hot Chocolate & Boozy Hot Chocolate
Who doesn’t love hot chocolate and this recipe is the absolute best when you are wanting a cocktail that is over-the-top special. Add a little Salted Caramel Crown Royal or Gator Bite Coffee Infused Rum and you’ve got yourself a tasty treat that is perfect on a cold winter day. I topped this treat with homemade vanilla, chocolate, and salted caramel marshmallows for even more decadence.
Candy Cane Cranberry Juleps
These Candy Cane Cranberry Juleps are a fun and easy Christmas cocktail that can definitely be made ahead of time for easy entertaining. It comes together with just a few ingredients and is so delicious and festive.
Cranberry Satsuma Mojitos
Cranberry Satsuma Mojitos are simple to make, light, and refreshing. Satsumas are such a quintessential southern winter citrus and are absolutely perfect for a holiday mojito.
Cranberry Cider Pecan Mules
The flavors of these Cranberry Cider Pecan Mules are perfect for your fall entertaining and is another cocktail that can be made ahead. These are made with delicious Cathead Pecan Vodka for an earthiness along with the sweet and tart flavors of cranberry, apple cider, and cinnamon.
Cranberry Satsuma Margaritas
So I couldn’t compile a list of my favorite holiday cocktails without adding a margarita to the group. This Cranberry Satsuma Margarita is light, refreshing, and has a delicious sweet-tart citrus flavor thanks to Louisiana Satsumas. You are definitely going to want to give this one a try.
