Perfect Hot Chocolate

 2 cups whole milk
 2 cups half-and-half
 3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
 3 oz milk chocolate, chopped
 1 tbsp sugar
 2 tsp vanilla extract
 marshmallows for garnish (chocolate, vanilla, and salted caramel)
For the "Grown Up Hot Chocolate":
 1 fl oz Coffee Rum (optional--I used Gatorbite Coffee Rum)
 1 fl oz Salted Caramel Crown Royal (optional)

Place the milk and half-and-half in a medium-sized pot over low heat. Bring it to a simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate, whisking constantly until the chocolate is melted. Add the sugar and vanilla extract. Garnish with a marshmallow. Serve immediately.

To Make Grown-Up Hot Chocolate:

Serving suggestion--add 1-ounce of the Coffe Rum or 1-ounce of the Salted Caramel Crown Royal to the hot chocolate. Garnish with a homemade marshmallow.
