Blackberry Rum Sidecars

This delicious cocktail is featured in the March/April edition of LOLA Magazine.

 3 blackberries + 3 more for garnish
 ¾ fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
 ¾ fl oz Grand Marnier
 2 fl oz dark Rum, I used Bayou Rum Special Release Single Barrel
 1 drop Habanero bitters, I used Bitterman's

Muddle three blackberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, Grand Marnier, and rum. Add ice and shake vigorously to combine.


Place a large single ice cube in a double old-fashioned glass and pour contents of the shaker over the ice. Add the drop of habanero bitters and garnish with the remaining blackberries.
