I think this holiday season has been more hectic than ever. We’ve been hosting parties, attending parties, working a ton, and running around like crazy. But I’m loving how Christmas falls on the calendar, giving me lots of extra time to prepare for our Annual Christmas Eve Celebration. We usually go all out and this year my sister, brother-in-law, and nephews will also be here, so it’s even more special. I’ve been thinking about this menu for a while and I’m about 99% sure this is the final product.
All of these recipes are things that I’ve made before and are definitely family favorites. Our family (minus our oldest this year which we are very sad about–it’s her first Christmas away) usually spends the entire day so I always have a few nibbles sitting around to keep everyone satisfied. We have special friends that celebrate with us every year and they usually come over later in the afternoon to start the festivities. Christmas Eve is our big celebration, we don’t cook a thing on Christmas Day other than reheating a few leftovers.
Here are a few of the recipes that I’ve shared before that I’ll be making for Christmas Eve…
