This time of year I’m always struggling with my skin. I have pretty dry skin that is very sensitive to the elements, meaning cold and dry wind. Living in Louisiana we have quite a bit of humidity which really helps my dry skin. Especially since we are usually using our fireplace most nights (even when we have to turn on the air conditioner–my husband is rolling his eyes) and the heater. I know people always complain about oily skin, but having dry skin and being 47 is not a good thing. I’m always on the hunt for super moisturizing products and definitely taking advantage of self-care days (no one has time for alligator skin, especially me). Below are a few of my New Year’s Beauty Favorites–a few tried-and-true and a few new products that I’ve discovered recently to help you avoid the winter blues.
Masks, Scrubs, & Treatments…
Exuviance Detox Mud Mask— I’m in love with this mask. It’s great for removing impurities and clarifying my skin. I’ve been using it twice a week and I love how tight and bright it makes my skin feel and look.

Exuviance Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish— This face polish is great. I’m loving it probably as much as ExfoliKate and Dr. Brandt’s Pore Dermabrasion. This polish has glycolic acid, which I’m a huge fan of for resurfacing and smoothing. I also still really love Drunk Elephant’s TLC Sukari Babyfacial.

I’m still loving these Skinesque 3-Step Brightening Charcoal Masks. I’ve been using these for years and you just can’t beat them. I love the cleanser, serum, and mask. My skin looks so much brighter and tighter when I use them.

These Exuviance Vitamin C Capsules are fantastic. I’m a huge believer in Vitamin C for brightening and skin renewal. They in perfect little capsules and are gentle enough to use every day.

I’ve also been using a ton of Barefoot Scientist products including High Dive Intensive Hydration Foot Cream and Reboot Revitalizing Foot Peel. (My feet feel like a baby’s bottom.)
Serums & Creams…

This Exuviance Depuffing Eye Serum is great for use in the morning when my undereye is a little puffy. It has little micro rollers that are cold and really help to increase circulation.

I received this Estēe Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Moisturizing Creme in my last Zoe Box of Style and is so luxurious and hydrating. I will definitely be purchasing it again.

My tried and true GLO Skin Beauty SPF 40+ is my favorite sunscreen. It is completely weightless under my makeup and is perfect for all skin types. (The bottle says for oily skin, but my skin is dry and it’s great.)

Osea Essential Hydrating Oil is another one of my tried and true favorites. It is the perfect oil for extreme hydration. It blended from lavender, rosewood, and geranium and gives me a glow every time I use it. I also add a drop to my foundation when I’m feeling extra dry. (I think I’m on my 3rd bottle.) I love all of their products, really. You should check them out!
I still also use Yeouth’s Retinol 2.5% Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and Aloe Vera almost daily. It is probably still one of my favorite and most effective products I’ve tried in a long time and the price is fantastic.
