This time of year I start to get so excited about all of the fresh fruits and vegetables that are becoming available fresh at the grocery store. I love, love, love tropical fruits and kiwis are one of my favorites.
Aren’t these just beautiful? I love the bright green of these cocktails. They are tart and sweet. My absolute favorite combination. I used black sea salt to mimic the seeds of the kiwi for that special little touch (my husband totally made fun of me). I didn’t strain these margaritas because I love all of the seeds but feel free to strain if that’s your preference.
(makes 2 margaritas)
Place the kiwis, agave nectar, tequila, lime juice, and Grand Marnier in a blender. Blend until kiwis are liquified. Pour the mixture into a shaker with ice. Shake until well blended and cold and pour into a margarita glass rimmed with sea salt.
