So, I told you I was into sparkling wine, right?? I can’t stop. It’s just too darn good. This cocktail is right up there too. A little sweet, a little tart–just right. It might just be the perfect spring, sit-on-the patio-when-you-want-to-feel-fancy cocktail. Because, when it’s 75 outside, you absolutely have to sit on the patio. And you absolutely have to make this cocktail.
I found this amazing syrup at a local Gourmet Liquor & Wine store and knew that I had to craft a delicious cocktail. I absolutely loved the ideas of the light flavors of hibiscus and rose. Both are floral, but not overly sweet. They provided a recipe on the bottle and I adapted it just a tad.
Hibiscus Rose Sparkling Martini
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces Hibiscus Rose Syrup
1 ounce lemon juice
Sparkling Rose’
rose petals or roses for garnish
Combine the vodka, Hibiscus Rose syrup, and lemon juice in a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Pour into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Top with sparkling rose’. Garnish with rose petals or a rose.
P.S. I’ll share how to make the gorgeous flowered ice wine cooler soon!!
Enjoy!!
XO,
Sabrina
I bet it tastes as good as it looks! So pretty.
