We decided to make our last day of wine tasting one for the books and luckily we were able to go to an awesome party at Archery Summit Winery. Archery Summit is a long time favorite of this group with their amazing wine, wine cave, and gorgeous vineyard. They were hosting a big Labor Day party with a few of their sister companies. We were able to taste wine from Archery Summit, Pine Ridge Vineyards, Seghesio Family Vineyards, Seven Hills, Double Canyon, Malene Wines, and Chamisal Vineyards.
The party took place starting in the wine cave (where we had out wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting on our trip two years ago) and ventured all throughout the barreling room. It was great. They had delicious bite size appetizers and even a custom s’mores bar from 1927 S’mores Company.
(I cannot wait to recreate a few of these s’mores recipes when the weather finally cooperates and cools down. )
Time at Archery Summit party was (11am-2pm). This is not a normal tasting time since it was a party.
Since we went to the party at Archery Summit, we decided to enjoy one last tasting on our girl’s trip at Lennè Estates. This vineyard is where we decided to showcase our Grayson shirts. We have visited Lennè several times and a few of us actually joined the wine club. The wines are fantastic and very affordable. You can see my post here on Lennè from a previous trip.
(We spent about 1.5 hours at Lennè Estate Vineyards from (2:30-4pm). This tasting took a little extra time because of our photo shoot. )
After leaving the wineries we decided to venture into Portland for a night out. We stopped into Freeland Spirits for a quick gin tasting before dinner. Freeland Spirits is a woman owned and ran craft distillery that makes gin and bourbon.
Freeland Spirits celebrates the women of the craft. From the gals who grow the grain, to those who run the still, we’re creating superior spirits that celebrate all the Northwest has to offer.
We tasted a few cocktails and they were all delicious.
Cannon Beach, Oregon
One of our girls had to leave early and we decided to take it easy on this last day. We ventured to the coast for a day of R&R. We ventured to Cannon Beach and spent the day shopping, eating al fresco, and enjoying a glass of two of wine on the beach. It was just what we needed after three full days of wine tasting.
So that’s a wrap on an awesome trip. We all can’t wait until our next one.
